NieR: Automata Reportedly Coming To Xbox One
There are not enough words to describe how amazing of a game NieR: Automata is. From the God of War-esque light and heavy attack gameplay to the emotionally-charged, award-winning musical score wrapped up in the game’s masterclass of storytelling, NieR: Automata should be experienced by all gamers. Unfortunately, the game is currently only available for PC and PlayStation 4. That said, according to a recent report, Xbox One players may finally get their chance to try out NieR: Automata for themselves.
According to Jeuxvideo, a source has revealed that NieR: Automata will be ported over to the Xbox One, and plans for the port are already in development. This is allegedly the same source that revealed that the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was headed to the Nintendo Switch and the Xbox One, and also the same source that leaked details on the remastered Spyro game.
Porting NieR: Automata over to the Xbox One certainly makes a great deal of sense. Game director Yoko Taro has always been passionate about wanting as many people as possible to play the game, and the game’s producer, Yosuke Saito, mentioned at PAX East that he’d love to make another game within the NieR universe, should Taro be willing to spearhead the project. Having a strong fan base on the Xbox One will certainly help make those dreams a reality.
NieR: Automata is currently available for PC and PlayStation 4.
