The Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater franchise helped define a generation, though sadly, in recent years the franchise hasn’t seen a whole lot of success. Rumors have indicated that fans will be able to get a chance to ride again with the release of a new title, though so far there hasn’t been any official update from the developers on the subject. Rumors came to a head when music group The Death Set recently leaked plans for a new title that was supposedly arriving sometime this year. Now a professional skater has also revealed some information indicating that a brand new Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater title is on the way.

Professional Skateboarder Jason Dill recently sat down for a podcast with The Nine Club, a collection of skaters who get together to talk about anything and everything related to skateboarding. Amidst talking about his clothing company and random stories about his life, Dill went over quite a bit. Along the way, he made a small reference to a new Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater game that was set to arrive in 2020. In addition to mentioning “Shaun” – presumably pro boarder Shaun White – would be in the game, he also said his own skateboard design would feature in the game as well so that he would be included in some capacity.

There’s still been no word as to when fans can expect the title or what titles the game will be available on. For now, all fans can do is wait and see what the future holds.
