New Pokémon Plush Coming To Build-A-Bear For Halloween Season

The Build-A-Bear Workshop has been around since 1997, giving kids and ‘grown up kids’ a chance to create their own cuddly friend in the form of a stuffed animal. While the company has always focused on a sense of personalization with their products, Build-A-Bear’s popularity truly exploded when it began to collaborate with other companies, such as the Pokemon Company, to offer some fictional creations as well. Now, for Halloween, the Build-A-Bear Workshop is bringing another Pokémon into its fold for a limited time to spice up the spooky season in style.

It appears as though the OG king of the spookiest Pokemon, Gengar, is the newest in the lineup of Pokémon plushies from Build-A-Bear. The creation features a black coat with purple Pokeballs and a 5-in-1 sound chip. The set is an online exclusive bundle and can be picked up for the price of $53.00. The Gengar plush also cannot be filled with a scent, unstuffed, or be given any stuffing adjustments.

Currently the Build-A-Bear Gengar plush is only available in the United States, though it seems possible that it will make its way to other countries as well in the future. Are there any other Pokémon themed plushies you’d like to see come out of the Build-A-Bear Workshop?
