Monster Hunter: World

A new video has been released for the newest installment of the Monster Hunter franchise and this time, the video gives fans a chance to see 20 minutes of stunning gameplay footage. Monster Hunter: World, which is set to release in 2018, has been a wildly talked about title and it seems that even game developers are excited about the upcoming release. Now, with the launch of this new gameplay video, fans have a chance to see what beasts await them. Needless to say, the imagery looks absolutely gorgeous and we cannot wait for a chance to play the game. Check out the video below:

As fans can see from the footage, Monster Hunter: World has definitely upped the ante in game mechanics and graphics. The scenery looks much more realistic and shockingly beautiful, while the game mechanics now allow players to get little tutorials on how to perform certain actions in the game. The changes in controls allow new players to the franchise to get a little more acquainted with the title, which is great for developers looking to expand on their demographic. This 23 minute long video released by Capcom UK also highlights a few new features as well. One of these features is a “slinger”, which allows gamers to cross chasms and canyons with ease and doubles as a slingshot weapon.

Finally, the last feature added to the game is a new tracking system. Scout flies, which look like little lightening bugs, can lead players towards their target monster. Of course, fans will still have to look for clues before the scout flies can do their job, but this feature definitely makes a huge difference. All in all, the game looks even more incredible than first anticipated, making the wait for this title’s release feel even longer. Monster Hunter: World is set to release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in early 2018 with the PC version arriving later.
