New Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Screenshots Feature Nero, Fort Condor
With Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade just a month away from launch, Square Enix has released a new batch of screenshots for the PS5 exclusive title. These screenshots build off the recently released trailer that revealed the return of Fort Condor, the Ramuh summon, Yuffie’s battle with Scarlet, and other juicy reveals.
Square Enix took to Japan’s PlayStation Blog site to release a bunch of new screenshots for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. Shown above, some of the screenshots feature Nero, who was shown in the most recent trailer for the game. Those that have played the Vincent-led spinoff game Dirge of Cerberus will recognize Nero as one of the Tsivet, a powerful member of Deepground who adores his older brother, Weiss. Nero will seemingly be squaring off against Yuffie during the DLC, while Weiss appears to be relegated to the Combat Simulator content accessible by Cloud and friends.
Shown above are some screenshots depicting the return of Fort Condor. In the original Final Fantasy VII, Fort Condor wasn’t accessible until the party makes it to the actual named location on the world map, though this time around it’s been relegated to board-game status. Similar elements from the original appear to be in place here, with units sporting a strong against/weak against system that players can exploit to their advantage depending on their adversaries.
Next up on the docket are some screenshots of the lovely Scarlet, who is piloting her own mech in a bid to halt the progress of Yuffie and Sonon. The mech itself is called Crimson Mare, state-of-the-art Shinra tech used by Scarlet to conduct performance test on the two invading Wutai ninja. Also displayed above are a few screenshots of the Lord of Levin, Ramuh, who appears as a summon exclusive to the Yuffie DLC.
Last but not least are some screenshots of our Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade heroes, Yuffie and Sonon. The screenshots show off the pair’s limit breaks, with Yuffie’s Bloodbath dealing a massive amount of damage with sustained blows and Dance of the Dragon delivering a series of strong attacks. The pair’s synergy attacks are also explained, with the blog post revealing that the L2 button will activate their duo attacks, such as Art of War and Windstorm.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is slated to release on June 10 exclusively for PS5.
