Bullet Ballet Title ‘My Friend Pedro’ Announced At E3 2018 (VIDEO)
Of all the exciting new titles that were announced today between Bethesda Softworks and Devolver Digital’s E3 2018 presentations, this one is easily the most, well, bananas. Announced by Devolver Digital, ‘My Friend Pedro’ is the story about a man who must “obliterate anyone in his path at the behest of a sentient banana.” I wasn’t kidding about the bananas. Check out the insane action-packed trailer for My Friend Pedro below:
As seen in the trailer, My Friend Pedro is chock full of bullet-time sequences that would make even Max Payne’s head spin. The Deadtoast Entertainment game takes things even further by introducing a protagonist that is very light on his feet, utilizing fancy acrobats and vehicles such as motorcycles, skateboards, and at one point even a rolling barrel to inflict as much carnage as humanly possible.
Here’s the official description of My Friend Pedro courtesy of Devolver Digital:
“My Friend Pedro is a violent ballet about friendship, imagination, and one man’s struggle to obliterate anyone in his path at the behest of a sentient banana. The strategic use of split aiming, slow motion, and the stylish window breach create one sensational action sequence after another in an explosive battle through the violent underworld.”
My Friend Pedro arrives for Nintendo Switch and PC at some point in 2019.
