Monster Hunter World’s Devil May Cry Event Quest Has Arrived, Plus Additional Free Loot

Devil May Cry Event

Capcom has released quite a bit of content over the last few weeks ranging from the Spring Blossom Festival. the release of the new “Siege” game mode, and the most recent arrival of Kulve Taroth. The developers continue to honor their promise of post-launch updates with their latest crossover: Devil May Cry.

The event itself is finally live and hopes to bring players quite the challenge. The first Devil May Cry quest of several will reward players with High Rank armor that will turn players into the main protagonist of the DMC series, Dante. Also rewarded is a Charge Blade which resembles Dante’s signature sword, Alastor. Unlike the Ryu armor of the first Street Fighter V, the Dante crossover armor and weapon are both viable options for late game mixed sets or just as a standalone option.

Devil May Cry Event

The Devil May Cry event isn’t the only thing to have arrived either. Players can now receive a special one time package of rewards called “Full House” alongside the usual Daily Login Bonus rewards. This special package arrives in celebration of the Monster Hunter Championship 2018 and contains five Deluxe First Wyverian Prints, one Steel Wyverian Print, one Silver Wyverian Print, and one Gold Wyverian Print. The Devil May Cry event will run from now until May 11th. After the DMC event ends, the latest Street Fighter V quest focusing on Ryu’s biggest fan Sakura, will become available.

Monster Hunter World is currently available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. What other Capcom crossovers would you like to see in the future?
