With a new season in full bloom, the Monster Hunter World Spring Blossom Fest has officially kicked off with a bang. With new growth comes new gear and there are plenty of new features to go around. Astera is getting a festive make-over to ring in the event as well!

Firstly, the Monster Hunter World Spring Blossom Fest is giving players the opportunity to replay all event quests. In short, any unique gear players may have missed out on will be up for grabs again over the course of the event. This includes a chance to snag the Street Fighter Ryu gear for those who didn’t get a chance the first time. The developers also released a video showcasing some of the new features, and that can be seen below:

Also coming with the Spring Blossom Fest is a new weapon, the Wyvern Ignition “Impact” Greatsword. This weapon was fan designed and won a contest prior to the release of the game. Rockets on the sword add more oomph to the strike, and the weapon does some pretty solid damage. Check that bad boy out in the photo below:

The Monster Hunter World Spring Blossom Fest will also feature items themed for the festivities. Players will acquire Blossom Tickets for logging in and completing bounties, and they can then spend them on glorious new gear. Players will need 23 tickets in total to craft all of the items, but with the event running until April 19th, players should have plenty of time to get everything they need or missed out on.
