Fallout Legacy Collection Confirmed by Bethesda for Europe

Fallout 4's VR

Earlier in the week, we told you about a leak on Amazon Germany that showed a listing for something called “Fallout Legacy Collection.” This collection purported to house every single game in the Fallout series that released on PC, even those not under the Bethesda umbrella. From Interplay’s Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics to Bethesda’s Fallout 3, New Vegas, and Fallout 4; the collection aimed to be everything a fan could want is in this one package. Well, it seems like the leak was legit, the Legacy Collection is real. However, there is a major caveat for any fans looking to pick this up.

Bethesda took to Twitter to make the announcement official.

Most of the information here tracks with what the leak detailed. Every main game in the series, apart from Fallout 76, would be included in the collection and it is PC only. However, there’s a bombshell of an announcement in the last sentence of this tweet, almost like burying the lede a bit here. It sounds like Fallout Legacy Collection will only be coming to Germany and the UK. Bethesda clarified in a reply tweet to a fan.

This news is sure to be a major disappointment to fans in North America and other parts of the world. Many players start out with the games on console and become curious about the freedom and capability from the PC versions of the games. While there’s the Fallout Anthology, this edition is in major demand from fans on the resell market and only seems to be available in limited quantities for folks looking to pick it up new. Hopefully, Bethesda realizes they could be leaving money on the table by not offering this collection to its hardcore fans! Folks in UK and Germany can pick up the Fallout Legacy Collection when it drops on October 25th for the PC only.

Are you going to try and get the Fallout Legacy Collection? Do you think it will be released beyond the UK and Germany one day? Let us know in the comments below! Be sure to follow us on Twitter, Like us on Facebook, and check out all the latest news from Don’t Feed The Gamers:
