Minecraft Cereal ‘Creeper Crunch’ Revealed, Includes DLC
Minecraft is known throughout the world for its blocky world of imagination and the simple sandbox title has grown to reach quite a few spectacular avenues in its past decade of existence. Not only does Minecraft boast an immense creative community, but the game’s fantasy-inspired setting has also spun off into other genres such as with the full-fledged dungeon-crawler Minecraft Dungeons. Following all this success, it appears the series is now headed to a spoon near you with the reveal of a new Minecraft cereal called Creeper Crunch.
Recently reported by Prima Games, this surprise new breakfast is currently on the way this August from Kellogg’s, who have produced such classics as Frosted Flakes, Apple Jacks, Pops, as well as a growing list of brand-licensed cereals. Minecraft Creeper Crunch appears to be the next of these tasty varieties, offering a cinnamon-flavored crunch alongside blocky green marshmallows (“Creeper Bits”) placed throughout the cereal. As a fun bonus, it appears that the Minecraft cereal also comes packed with one of ten codes designed to unlock cosmetic DLC from the main game.
“Kellogg’s Minecraft Creeper Crunch Cereal extends a delicious experience beyond the breakfast table,” read an official Kellogg’s description. “Inside every box is a code that unlocks one of ten in-game clothing items, allowing Minecraft’s users to customize their characters head-to-toe with cloaks, jackets and more! Typically only available through purchase, these clothing items offer players a fun way to personalize their characters’ unique style in-game – exciting for any gamer!”

Though there are quite a few realms in Minecraft, the series certainly seems to be at home in the realm of breakfast. Outside the Mojang title, there have been numerous franchises adapted for the cereal space over the years, including such popular titles as Overwatch’s Lucio-Ohs, an amiibo-adjacent Super Mario cereal as well as a fake Mass Effect breakfast we desperately wish were real. When not breaking fasts, Minecraft has proven to be just as busy with the rest of the pixelated franchise, having debuted the harder-than-diamonds Nether Update and released a featureful new DLC pack for Minecraft Dungeons.
