Marvel’s Avengers Reveals Iron Man’s ‘Original Sin’ Outfit (VIDEO)
Developer Crystal Dynamics is pulling out all the stops for its upcoming Marvel’s Avengers game, and part of the studio’s missions is to provide players with as many customization options as possible for all the playable Avengers found within the title. Earlier this month, the developer released a new trailer showing off The Hulk and his dapper new suit. Now, the spotlight has shifted over to Iron Man, who will be getting his own unlockable ‘Original Sin’ outfit pulled directly from the comics.
The developer made the announcement via the official Marvel’s Avengers twitter, showcasing the Original Sin outfit based on the comic series of the same name from 2014. According to the post, the Original Sin series saw Tony and Bruce Banner at odds about the former’s role in the origins of The Hulk. Dropping the standard red coloring from his normal suit, the unlockable outfit instead sports black & gold coloring. Check it out in the video below:
A fan favorite! One of Iron Man’s unlockable outfits is inspired by his armor in Marvel’s Original Sin series from 2014, which saw Tony and Bruce Banner at odds about Tony’s role in The Hulk’s origins. This armor is instantly recognizable with its striking black & gold coloring. pic.twitter.com/uGkRkoRXy2

One important thing to note is that as with the rest of the cosmetics in the game, Iron Man’s Original Sin outfit won’t change his gameplay in any way shape or form. It’ll just look really, really cool. Still, that’s probably worth it enough to try to unlock it, right?
Marvel’s Avengers releases on May 15, 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
