Mark Wahlberg Reveals First Look At Uncharted Movie Look For Sully (VIDEO)
Several big movie studios have film adaptations of video games in the works, like the live-action Mortal Kombat movie reboot and the sequel to this year’s hit Sonic the Hedgehog movie. Perhaps the most anticipated is the live-action Uncharted movie starring Tom Holland. Recently, Sony released the first official image of Tom Holland as the young version of Nathan Drake, but many have been wondering what the younger version of Sully will look like in this film. Well, Mark Wahlberg, the famous actor portraying this prequel’s take on Victor “Sully” Sullivan, has provided the first official glimpse of his character.
Actor Mark Wahlberg recently shared a video from the production set of the live-action Uncharted film on his official Instagram account. The video shows the actor, presumably in his trailer or makeup chair, shouting “Don’t Ask! Don’t f***ing ask!” This may be in response to the fans that demanded to see an official image of Sully in the new movie after the first picture of Tom Holland as Nathan Drake was revealed. Wahlberg looks fairly close to his normal look in the video, with the obvious difference being his prosthetic Sully mustache.
Not only does the young Sully look change little of Mark Wahlberg’s usual appearance, but it also looks fairly close to the younger version of Sully seen in the flashback sequences of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Tom Holland has stated before that the film will be a fresh take on the characters, with a story not seen previously in the games. However, one would be hard-pressed to say that the studio did not take the Uncharted 3 flashback sequence into account for the main characters’ looks. Wahlberg certainly looks primed for this adventure and for capturing the spirit of Sully. Hopefully, the film can just avoid the pitfalls of production delays from COVID-19, and find the hidden treasure that is a theatrical release.
