New JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Game Rumor Confirmed As Fake
Earlier this month a new batch of leaks sprung up from renowned Redditor Dasvergeben, who has in the past correctly predicted several pieces of upcoming content for multiple different fighting games. In the most recent set of leaks, Dasvergeben revealed that a new JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure fighting game was in development by studio French Bread, which would eventually release for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. While a new fighting game would be more than welcome by fans of the longtime manga, the leak has officially been confirmed as fake.
Unfortunately for fans, the original leak was a substantial one, in which the source revealed that the title of the game would be “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Chrono Crusaders” and would feature 36 playable characters on launch. Season Pass details were also revealed, as well as who would be voicing the characters for both the Japanese version and the English dub. The leak also stated that the game would be revealed at E3 and releasing this winter.
After the leak was posted, voice actor Kira Buckland of NieR: Automata fame responded to a Tweet asking her how credible the leak was, at which she denied any involvement. Dasvergeben also updated the original post and included a link to an imgur page revealing that the source of the leak confirmed that it was a fake.
LMAO I’m flattered but nope. Sounds like someone’s fan casting, where people put who they would ideally like to play each role. And now I’m imagining what @sonicmega ‘s Giorno would sound like hahaha

While the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures leak was revealed to be a fake, fans of the series can still enjoy the original game, which was released back in 1998 and is currently available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
