It Takes Two Gameplay Trailer Shows Off Puzzles, Bosses, And More (VIDEO)

It Takes Two

Since its inception, the developer Hazelight has spent a lot of time developing unique methods of storytelling to bring forth tales that focus on two-character gameplay. Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons was a single-player title that focused on controlling two brothers at once, solving puzzles as they adventure through an epic fantasy tale. As the developers grew, a follow-up title called A Way Out told the story of two men attempting to break out of prison, while also serving as a tale of friendship, betrayal, revenge, and more. Both titles tackle some emotionally charged concepts and now, Hazelight’s next game is set to follow suit with a new trailer for the previously announced It Takes Two.

The upcoming game has received a new trailer showing off what fans can expect to find in the strange and heartwarming tale of a couple who became a pair of dolls. The tale of May and Cody looks to be a whimsical experience as players explore vast quirky worlds overflowing with wonder, face multiple wild and wacky bosses, as well as solve numerous puzzles all in order to save their dying relationship. The trailer explains the game will follow a story of passion, attraction, and collaboration. Hazelight has done an excellent job so far of blending a wide range of storytelling genres with their unique coop experiences and if the latest trailer is anything to go by, the upcoming It Takes Two will be the greatest yet.

It Takes Two is expected to release on March 26th of next year for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
