Horizon Forbidden West Targeting Late 2021 Launch (VIDEO)
Horizon Zero Dawn fans have been patiently awaiting more information about the upcoming sequel, which was announced earlier this year. That said, while we don’t know a ton of details about Horizon Forbidden West, we do know that Sony is expecting to launch the game in the latter half of 2021.
Sony recently dropped a new trailer to celebrate the launch of the PlayStation 5. The video features a few of the titles that players can expect to experience on the next-gene console, including Horizon Forbidden West. Later in the video, the text at the bottom shows when to expect the featured games, placing an anticipated launch for HFW in the second half of next year.
We still don’t know a lot about Horizon Forbidden West, but we at least know when to expect it, provided there are no delays between now and then. As for the other games shown in the PS5 launch trailer, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Demon’s Souls will be available on November 12th, while Gran Turismo 7, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Returnal are expected in the first half of 2021.
Horizon Forbidden West is currently in development at Guerrilla Games with an expected launch set for some time in the second half of 2021.
