Henry Cavill Reveals The Witcher Season 2 Geralt Costume
Netflix continues to hold their position as perhaps the biggest player in the streaming wars, and their adaptations of gamer-friendly franchises are a big contribution to those efforts. Season 4 of their highly acclaimed Castlevania animated series is in the works, as are two different series based on the Resident Evil games. That said, production recently resumed on the new season of The Witcher, and now, series star Henry Cavill has provided the first official look at the new Geralt costume that will be seen in season 2.
Henry Cavill recently shared the first images of The Witcher season 2 Geralt costume on his official Instagram account. The new armor for Henry Cavill’s Geralt of Rivia seems to be bigger and more detailed, not to mention that it differs from the armor Geralt wore in the first season that closer resembled the armor worn by Geralt in The Witcher video games.

Cavill also seems to have gotten significantly bulked up for the new season of The Witcher, and his more unkempt look for his hair seems to continue in this new season. Accompanying the post, Cavill included a quote from The Witcher author Andrzej Sapkowski’s writings:
‘It may turn out,’ said the white-haired man a moment later, ‘that their comrades or cronies may ask what befell these evil men. Tell them the Wolf bit them. The White Wolf. And add that they should keep glancing over their shoulders. One day they’ll look back and see the Wolf.’”
Netflix has also suggested that we may soon see The Witcher season 2 looks for Ciri and Yennefer to accompany this Geralt costume preview. Currently, there is no set release date for the series, as production was only able to resume two months ago after a long delay, but many are theorizing a release in mid to late 2021. Hopefully filming goes smoothly and the new season can arrive sooner rather than later. We’ll just have to play a lot of Gwent until then.
