Halo TV Series Trailer Hypes Up Master Chief And Ensemble Cast

Halo Tv series trailer

The television industry may very well be venturing into a golden age of video game adaptations. Netflix has had good luck with its Witcher adaptations, and Amazon seems to be betting big on a planned Fallout series. Paramount has long been hyping up their live-action Halo series for their Paramount Plus streaming service. Footage so far from the series has been fairly sparse but has seemed to recreate iconic elements and looks from the games. Now, Paramount has released a new Halo TV series trailer that helps spotlight Master Chief and the rest of the series’s cast.

Paramount released the new Halo TV series trailer on their official YouTube channel for the streaming service. The trailer was released simultaneously with the review embargo for the series. While Master Chief more or less is the protagonist, this trailer also equally showcases the show’s ensemble cast. The first of these seen is Yerin Ha as Kwan Ha Boo, whose village is ravaged by The Covenant. Also highlighted is Natascha McElhone as Dr. Catherine Elizabeth Halsey, who is propped up as the most core character in the show besides Master Chief and Cortana. She is seen confronted by UNSC Captain and friend of Master Chief Jacob Keyes played by Danny Sapani.

Another tense conversation is seen between Miranda Keyes, the daughter of Jacob played by Olive Gray, and Admiral Margaret Parangosky, Director of ONI played by Shabana Azmi. After a minute and a half of focus on the supporting cast, Master Chief is finally seen in action in the trailer riding a Warthog and using the heavy machine gun players might recognize from the game. While fans obviously want to see the Spartan warrior in action, it’s good to see that they are giving him a great supporting lineup of actors to help him carry the burden of the series. The Halo TV series is set to premiere on March 24th only on Paramount Plus.
