“Exciting” Halo: The Master Chief Collection News Coming Soon, According to Studio
Halo: The Master Chief Collection brings all of the Halo titles from CE through 4 together, enhancing each individual title while still allowing players to revisit the nostalgia of classic graphics and audio. Although the collection saw a poor launch back in 2014, the developers have been able to turn things around with various updates fixing many of the issues that were plaguing the assemblage of titles. Now it seems that 343 Industries isn’t quite done with the Master Chief Collection, teasing some interesting news about the future.
“Not only will you be treated to amazing matches and gameplay, but we’ve also got some exciting MCC news to reveal during the show,” teased in a recent developer blog post on Halo Waypoint has arrived about the upcoming Halo Championship Series Invitational event being held later this year. Alongside some amazing gameplay from some incredibly skilled teams of players, the post revealed that there would be some news from 343 Industries concerning Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Unfortunately, it was just that – a small tease.
The developers did an amazing job turning the Master Chief Collection around for the better, it’ll be interesting to see what the studio has in store for the future. The upcoming Halo Championships are set to be held on March 15-17 during SXSW in Austin, Texas. Fans who are interested in seeing the event in person can purchase tickets here, otherwise they’ll be able to watch on both live on Twitch and Mixer.
The Master Chief Collection is available as an Xbox One exclusive. What news could the developers be bringing to the table at the SXSW event?
