The Master Chief Collection On PC Won’t Include Halo 5
PC players rejoiced upon hearing the news that Halo: The Master Chief Collection would be arriving on the platform at long last. The Master Chief Collection contains Halo CE through Halo 4, including Halo 3: ODST, and soon: Halo Reach. Sadly, the only title still being left out of the upcoming PC version is Halo 5: Guardians and it doesn’t appear that it will be making its l way into the collection anytime soon.
During a recent AMA on Reddit, 343 Industries’ Community Director was kind enough to inform fans about various questions they had. One question in particular pertained to whether or not Halo 5 would be included within the MCC. The developer responded, stating that at the moment 343 Industries is focused on bringing Reach and the MCC to the PC platform and as such, the developer is not currently looking at bringing in a Halo 5 port as well.

The Master Chief Collection is currently available on Xbox One, and unfortunately there is no set release date for the PC version. Fans can expect to see the collection arrive sometime this year, but that’s all that’s really known at this point.
