Rockstar Releases New Details on GTA Online’s Gunrunning Update
Rockstar Games recently announced the next large expansion coming to GTA Online called the Gunrunning Update. This DLC will see players enter the world of arms dealing, fighting rivals and outwitting the feds while delivering weapons to the people of Los Santos and Blaine County. New specifics have come to light detailing what fans can expect from the upcoming expansion.
In order to begin running guns themselves, players will need to get a bunker. Available for any CEO, VIP, or MC President players, a bunker will allow them to have a place to get their operations off the ground. White coat lab tech will be there to create weapons to be sold to the highest bidder. Bunkers are the main hub for the Gunrunning Update but for the player on the move, an investment into a Mobile Operations Center is necessary.
Storable in your Bunker, this drivable command center’s modular construction allows for tailored combinations of vehicle workshop, weapons workshop, luxury living quarters, and command center – with facilities for upgrading and customizing your arsenal and modifying Weaponized Vehicles (including turrets for your MOC that can be manned by your squad) – all at your fingertips, and pulled by a fully customizable commercial semi.”
Of course, it just wouldn’t do to run guns without friends joining in for the ride. Also introduced are weaponized vehicles to help grow players fleet of gun toting vehicles from the amphibious APC, to a mobile anti-aircraft trailer. These vehicles can be used as company assets allowing for some extra protection when hitting the open road and delivering cargo.
When all is said and done it’s a good idea for players to return to their bunker and utilize the benefits of having their own personal yes men. The White Coats in your employ will be able to provide new customizations for weapons, new tech for weaponized vehicles, and upgrades for your MOC.
There’s always something new going on in GTA, it seems, which is fantastic for its millions-wide player base, though no release date has been announced yet.
