Genshin Impact Venti Rerun, New Weapon Banner Details Revealed

Genshin Impact players are already scrambling to get their pre-installs done for the upcoming Version 1.4 update, which brings with it the highly anticipated Windblume Festival, the implementation of Hangout Events, new quality of life features, and the arrival of the 4* Cryo Polearm character Rosaria. If that’s not exciting enough, it’s also been revealed that the limited character Venti is returning on a rerun Event Wish banner alongside a new weapon that is, of course, perfect for the wandering minstrel.

Genshin Impact developer miHoYo recently took to Twitter to outline some of what’s to come in Version 1.4. While we’ve already covered Hangout Events in another article, the dev also outlines the two limited Event Wish banners that will be starting on the first day of the Windblume Festival, March 17. The character banner features none other than this game’s spoony bard himself, Venti, with 4* characters Sucrose, Razor, and Noelle also receiving a sizable drop-rate bonus.

As seen in the above Tweet, the new limited Event Wish – Epitome Invocation – features the new Elegy for the End bow, which as mentioned seems particularly ideal for Venti. Here’s the official description of what the bow does courtesy of Paimon:

Of course, miHoYo isn’t too keen on making it easy to pull a new 5* weapon. The Epitome Invocation banner naturally features a second – and much older – 5* weapon which will compete for the player’s hard-earned Primogems. We’ll thankfully be able to snag some Primogems via daily login rewards, the new Battle Pass, and by engaging in the new Windblume Festival content.

Genshin Impact Version 1.4 releases on March 17, 2021.
