Winter is definitely here in Game of Thrones and the battle for the Iron Throne is in full force as revelations have come to light and the stakes have gotten higher for many of the characters, especially the Starks. For some characters, their narratives were down right explosive with their plot twists ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). With the new, albeit much shorter, season on the horizon, HBO released a new commercial for their upcoming line-up and yes, that includes our favourite cast of the popular television series based off of the books by George R.R. The promotional video is goofy but done in the traditional styling of the instantly recognizable HBO sound, which is an ascending humming noise that breaks from a familiar static. It features actors and actresses from varying HBO staples and definitely brings a chuckle. See Sansa, Jaime, Daenerys, Tyrion, and more back with a comical vengeance in prep for the release date of the new season this summer.

You can even prepare to enjoy your favourite gritty show with a brand new wine collection inspired by the TV show to get your inner Cersei on. Wine not your thing? There’s a beer line too. Game of Thrones Season 7 officially premieres on HBO July 16, 2017!
