Hearthstone Celebrates 100 Million Player Milestone With Free Card Packs

In terms of Hearthstone news alone, there are exciting times ahead. During BlizzCon festivities this year, Blizzard and company announced several new projects and games, including a new DLC pack for their online strategy card game Hearthstone. Dubbed Rastakhan’s Rumble, there are two version available for purchase – one for the casual bunch and the other for the hardcore collector. In addition to that, the team announced a brand new milestone for the game and they want to celebrate with the community.

Surpassing 100 million players on Hearthstone, Blizzard is celebrating this special occasion with free cards for all! All players that log in between November 7th to November 11th will receive a whopping 6 free The Boomsday Project card packs. Everyone will also receive up to 500 gold for playing with friends, earn a “Celebrate the Players” quest, which rewards friendly challenges with 100 gold. It’s really a win-win for everyone involved.

In order to successfully claim your own card packs, introductory quests “First Blood” and “The Duelist” must be completed first and foremost. Also, ensure there is room on your quest log before November 7th rolls around. “Just like Play a Friend!, don’t concede too early, or you may not receive credit for completing the quest,” reads the Hearthstone blog. “Unlike Play a Friend!, Celebrate the Players only provides rewards to players who have this quest in their own quest log.”
