Fortnite Rift Tour Announced Featuring Ariana Grande (VIDEO)
There are many big multiplayer online games out there, but perhaps none have had as much success by offering a variety of online experiences as Fortnite. The game helped bring forth the Battle Royale mode craze, and their virtual events featuring celebrities like Travis Scott and Marshmello helped attract new fans, especially during the past year and a half. Ariana Grande has seen similar crossover experiences in games like Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, and now it seems her time to shine in Fortnite has come. Epic Games has announced that a virtual Ariana Grande concert will headline their new Fortnite Rift Tour.
Epic Games has revealed new details about the virtual Ariana Grande concert on their official website. The virtual concert will be held in Fortnite several times on August 6th through August 8th. While Ariana Grande’s show will be the headline for the event, there will be a variety of activities before the concert that pair Fortnite elements with Ariana Grande’s hit songs. The five different concert showtimes are as follows:
- Show 1 – Friday, August 6 @ 6PM ET
- Show 2 – Saturday, August 7 @ 2PM ET
- Show 3 – Sunday, August 8 @ 12AM ET
- Show 4 – Sunday, August 8 @ 10AM ET
- Show 5 – Sunday, August 8 @ 6PM ET
Ahead of the Fortnite Rift Tour featuring Ariana Grande, fans of the singer can celebrate their fandom by purchasing the new Ariana Grande skin in the game, including the cute Piggy Smallz back bling. There are also a variety of Fortnite Rift Tour quests that fans can complete now that has several free new items up for grabs upon completion of the tasks. Fortnite’s virtual events featuring musicians have been quite popular, and when this Ariana Grande concert ends, it’ll have players saying “Thank U, Next.”
