Fortnite New Map Teased, Destination China

Fortnite New Map

Epic Games’ popular Battle Royale title has been absolutely crushing it in the gaming world as of late. With new updates, items, game modes, and more seemingly appearing on a daily basis, it’s hard not to enjoy the fun-filled title. Sure, there have been a few hiccups along the way, but that hasn’t slowed the game’s success even in the slightest. That being said, when it comes to the addition of a Fortnite new map, it looks like the time has finally arrived.

In a tweet sent out by the official Fortnite Twitter account, the image was shared that shows a passport. Marked with a stamp that shows an April 2018 date, it appears that the Fortnite new map is set for China. Check it out for yourself below:

With the game currently only having one map in its popular Battle Royale mode, it would make sense to introduce a new one. It’s almost to the point where newcomers are tossed into matches with people who know the current map like the backs of their hands. Granted, that’s the nature of the beast, but it can become frustrating. With the addition of a new Fortnite map, everyone would have that feeling of being lost. Well, for a little bit of time. The cycle, of course, would then repeat itself.

It’s also interesting to note that this might not actually be a Fortnite new map teaser. Instead, some are speculating that the tweet above is in reference to the game’s arrival in China. At this point, it’s anyone’s guess, but it looks like we’ll know more on April 23rd. Until then, Fortnite can currently be played on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and iOS devices.
