Fortnite: Missing Durrr Burger Head Has Been Found IRL (VIDEO)

Fortnite Durrr Burger

It wasn’t too long ago when the core of Fortnite was met with a much-anticipated rocket launch, with players eager to find out how the event would shape the battle royale game moving forward. Instead of the expected explosive result, the missile created a literal fracture in time and space, forming a large, unstable crack across the entire Fortnite sky. With the unstable splinter only growing in size over the last week, it was only a matter of time before something big would take place.

Unfortunately, that means saying goodbye to the goofy mascot that hovers above Greasy Grove’s Durrr Burger, as the lovable foodstuff has completely disappeared into the glowing rift. Where’d he go? According to a recent sighting by Twitter user @selashiloni, the big digital burger has apparently made the interdimensional jump into the real world.

Outside of the movie Tron, travelling between the world of video games and real life is unanimously considered an impossibility, especially among the vocal bowels of Twitter. When one user accused the desert explorer of altering the image with Photoshop, he was quick to respond with a follow up video, showing an even closer look at our sesame seed-covered friend in live-action. Check it out below.

Finding Fortnite‘s huge hamburger buddy safe and sound is likely a relief for fans, but everyone’s likely more focused on how the Durrr Burger mascot ended up in the real world in the first place. The overall quality of the towering sandwich could pin this whole situation on the game’s publisher Epic Games as a probable marketing stunt. With the upcoming commencement of Season 5, this could be a pretty extreme possibility, but nothing official has been announced as of yet.

This new development in Fortnite‘s sky-cracking storyline might be a bit of a surprise for some, especially with the game’s new limited time Playground mode taking focus as of late. With popular creations such as Call Of Duty’s Nuketown map making the rounds, it’s likely no surprise that the community-driven mode is set to become permanentFortnite is available for iOS, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

What do you think? Are you wondering what this real-world transportation means for Fortnite, or does this sound like a lot of hoopla to make over a hamburger?
