Fortnite John Wick Character Skin And New Weapon Teased By Epic Games

Fortnite John Wick

Avert your eyes PUBG fans, as the latest tease from Epic Games packs a serious punch in the rivalry between Fortnite and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Epic Games recently took to Reddit to tease a new character skin and weapon that are both on its way to Fortnite, and fans were quick to notice that the character in question looks quite a bit like Keanu Reeves’ John Wick. After a bit of speculation, an Epic Games employee going by ‘arctyczyn’ responded to one of the comments with “The name’s Jason … Jason Wick. He has a particular set of skills,” more or less confirming that a Fortnite John Wick character skin is on its way to the battle royale game.

After a not insignificant amount of feedback from arctyczyn’s comment the user edited the message, changing it to “The name’s Jason… Jason. He has a particular set of skills.” The user then stated in a newer comment that Jason Wick is not the name of the outfit, suggesting that they were “only providing a meme worthy response to the question,” and that Fortnite players will have to wait until tomorrow to see the actual name. The damage appears to already be done, though, as the existence of an upcoming Fortnite John Wick character skin is already spreading like wildfire throughout the game’s community.

Fortnite is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Those looking to pick up Fortnite and partake in some glorious John Wick-fueled mayhem can do so for a steal, as all editions of the game are now on sale for half off. While Battle Royale mode is free, each PVE Campaign Edition comes with increasingly unique incentives and exclusive gear. Here are the prices for each edition:

  • Battle Royale – Free
  • Standard Edition – $19.99
  • Deluxe Edition – $29.99
  • Super Deluxe Edition – $44.99
  • Limited Edition – $74.99
