First Destiny 2 DLC Will Reportedly Take Players Back to Mercury
For the fans of the upcoming sequel to Bungie’s shooter, Destiny, news of upcoming additional content is something that has many players excited to see what the new narrative will bring. The first Destiny 2 DLC will reportedly feature Mercury, which many players have had a taste of with the Trials of Osiris’ Lighthouse, and will allegedly focus on the banished space wizard, Osiris.
According to sources, the first Destiny 2 DLC will be called The Curse of Osiris and will see players attempting to rescue Osiris from the Vex. It will reportedly feature a patrol on the planet of Mercury as well as a new social space within Mercury’s Lighthouse. . The DLC hopes to improve upon the lack of content seen in the first expansion for the first title, making it significantly larger than The Dark Below of 2014.
Whether or not the first Destiny 2 DLC will feature a raid along with the rest of the content it hopes to provide has not been mentioned, though it can be expected to run similarly to the first title. The price tag for the DLC has yet to be set, however the Expansion Pass for the game is set at $34.99.
Destiny 2 will be released on September 6th for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with the PC releasing later in October. The first DLC reportedly will release sometime in December.
