Final Fantasy 15 Story DLC Hinted at in New Trailer (VIDEO)

Final Fantasy 15 Story DLC

For those of you getting tired of hearing about the upcoming Final Fantasy 15 multiplayer DLC Comrades, this may interest you instead.  At the Tokyo Game Show, Square Enix released a video that highlights all of the components of its Final Fantasy 15 ‘universe’, while also hinting at some upcoming Final Fantasy 15 story DLC.  Showcasing all of the title’s DLC and its upcoming Final Fantasy 15 Pocket Edition and Final Fantasy 15 Windows Edition, the trailer shows us just a few seconds of the upcoming story DLC, beginning around the 2:15 mark.  Check it out below:

As seen in the trailer, viewers are treated to some never before seen images of Lunafreya and Gentiana, which suggests that new Final Fantasy 15 story DLC is on its way involving the pair.  From a story standpoint, there appeared to be much that Square Enix could have done between Lunafreya and the Astrals, so teasing upcoming Final Fantasy 15 story DLC with an image of her conversing with Gentiana (read: Shiva) may be a hint at what to expect.  This is altogether exciting news, especially since Square Enix is coming up to the end of their announced scheduled content once Episode Ignis arrives this December.  Additionally, the Japanese publisher used the trailer to reveal that Final Fantasy 15 is also receiving a free update increasing the game’s hunt capacity, which should excite fans looking for a new challenge.

This year’s Tokyo Game Show has been a hotbed of activity for Final Fantasy.  Earlier in the week Square Enix announced – and released – a port of Final Fantasy 9 for the PlayStation 4.  Additionally, the publisher also revealed that the upcoming Final Fantasy 15 multiplayer DLC Comrades is arriving next month.  Final Fantasy 15 is now available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.  More recently, Hajime Tabata revealed that his team has been doing some testing for a potential Nintendo Switch version of Final Fantasy 15.
