Far Cry 5 Players Are Officially Hunting For, Er, Bigfoot?

Far Cry 5 Players Are Officially Hunting For Bigfoot

Far Cry 5 features tons of animals that players can both tame and hunt, making their stay in Montana all that more enjoyable. For those looking for bigger, more elusive game, though, apparently Bigfoot is on the menu. The game has been out for a whole 5 days now, and already Far Cry 5 players are hunting down mythical creatures.

The hunt for Bigfoot started after players began coming across a certain map located in a cabin in the Whitetail Mountains. The cabin belongs to a deceased Bigfoot hunter, and it can be accessed after players have completed a mission titled ‘Gone Squatchin’. The map (courtesy of DutchSoldier01) depicts Hope County, though it doesn’t completely match the same map Far Cry 5 players are given. The map is shown at the top of the page, and it depicts what appear to be alleged Bigfoot sightings, red Xs, photos, and more. An alternate angle of the map can be seen here:

Of course, with numerous Far Cry 5 players searching for Bigfoot, it’s only a matter of time before the hairy fella is found, right? Well, not so much. Apparently only one person so far has claimed to have had a run in with Bigfoot, though conveniently there was no proof that it actually happened. So, for now it appears that Bigfoot isn’t actually in Far Cry 5, unless Ubisoft plans on giving him his grand entrance after a certain amount of time has passed.

Far Cry 5 is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
