Fan-Made Mega Maker Allows Players To Create Their Dream Mega Man Game (VIDEO)

Mega Maker

Mega Man fans have a slew of terrific content coming out this year, including the recently announced Mega Man Legacy collection. While it certainly looks like the Blue Bomber is making waves with all the great content coming out, it’s no surprise that a diehard fan has taken the craze to a whole new level. Sure, getting to play Mega Man is awesome, but what about creating one’s very own Mega Man game? Taking inspiration from Super Mario Maker, creator Wrecking Projects has created Mega Maker: a game where players can build and customize their very own Mega Man levels, taking the challenge of the Blue Bomber’s enemies and testing them out on friends. Check out the video below to see the game in action:

Mega Maker is a fan game where you can create and share your own Mega Man levels. You can make a traditional stage, a series of puzzle chambers or even an automatic level, anything goes! On top of that, you can play one of many levels uploaded by other users, allowing you to create and customize your very own Mega Man experience.”

According to the creator, the Mega Maker takes all the best elements from Mega Man 1 through 6 to give players a chance to build a course as challenging as they like. For instance, the builder comes with 46 enemies, 29 level objects, 12 bosses, 24 special weapons, 40 backgrounds, 129 tile-sets, and 63 music tracks. If this sounds like a game worth playing, check out the official page here. The game is due out on July 15th for PC, so make sure to prepare for the download in just a few days!
