Fallout 4 'Spooky Scary Radio' Mod Adds Hours Of Halloween-Themed Tracks

The spooktacular Halloween season is fully upon us, and video games from many different genres are celebrating with their own in-game festivities for fans to enjoy. Now, while Bethesda may not be doing anything festive for Fallout 4, a clever modder is injecting some much needed Halloween spirit into the open world RPG.

Titled ‘Spooky Scary Radio,’ the mod by the aptly named Natezomby shoves over 150 tracks of Halloween-themed goodness into Fallout 4’s in-game radio. These tracks are a compilation of classic Halloween music from artists like Bing Crosby, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, and more, along with classic horror movie trailers and the occasionally scary story “creeping in to spook your socks off!” Here’s the description of the mod from its creator:

Do you hear that xylophone? Feel the autumn chill in the air? Smell the pumpkin spice? Well, I guess that means that it’s almost Halloween as I write this – my favorite time of the year! Better blast some bone-chilling bangers and bomb some bandits with big booms in Fallout, bud. I have just the thing. Please, follow me into my lab, I’ve been working on something. Hours and hours of curating the necessary parts, clipping, trimming, and stitching has all lead up to this. Go ahead, get closer… Lift the sheet, and reveal – Spooky Scary Radio.”

The Fallout 4 Spooky Scary Radio mod is now available for download at Nexus Mods. Those looking to check out the (tentative) track list can do so right here.

Fallout 4 is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
