Epic Games Store Offering Remnant: From The Ashes And More For Free
While some folks are a bit more focused on Epic Games’ ongoing war with tech giants, others remain gaming. Luckily, the show does go on and the free titles being offered this week on the Epic Games Store are a couple of really good ones.
For starters, fans can claim Remnant: From the Ashes for free on the Epic Games Store. “Remnant: From the Ashes is a third-person survival action shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by monstrous creatures,” reads the description. “As one of the last remnants of humanity, you’ll set out alone or alongside up to two other players to face down hordes of deadly enemies and epic bosses, and try to carve a foothold, rebuild, and then retake what was lost.”

Next up for the Epic Games Store freebies is actually a pair of titles bundled together in the form of The Alto Collection. The two mobile games, Alto’s Adventure and Alto’s Odyssey, were originally released in 2015 and 2018, respectively. Each is simplistic in terms of gameplay, offering players a gorgeous view as they snowboard or sandboard their way through a myriad of landscapes, discovering secrets, performing stunts, and avoiding obstacles along the way. Needless to say, definitely worth the price tag of free.
These titles are currently available for free on the Epic Games Store until August 20th. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
