After news made its rounds on the internet, Rockstar Games finally called the shot to push back the latest update to Red Dead Online for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. After the developer rolled out an update to its various platforms, players noticed a variety of glitches that reportedly made the game “unplayable.” There have been reports of low animal spawns and severe connection issues. There were also a variety other glitches like floating NPCs, horses rolling around maps, unrideable wagons, and more.

Rockstar provided a general response to the community’s encounters with glitches in Red Dead Online in their support forum. The release stated: “An update to Red Dead Online intended to provide security improvements and address connection errors unintentionally introduced a range of issues including connection problems, low animal spawn counts, difficulty pitching Camps, entering Moonshine shacks as well as others on PS4 and Xbox One. We have reverted back to the previous version on those platforms, initially launched on July 28. This should address these recent issues and restore stability – meanwhile we will continue to work to eliminate any remaining issues through future updates.”

So, for the time being, Red Dead Online players can expect the game to return back to relative normalcy until Rockstar is able to assess and nullify the issues. If you’re looking for a few hearty chuckles, however, here are a handful of notable glitches Red Dead Online players submitted on Twitter:
