EA Teases Singleplayer Campaign, More Eras, and More Characters for Battlefront 2
Star Wars Battlefront was a highly anticipated release due to the possibility of reviving the original series from 2004-2005, produced by LucasArts and EA. Shortly after the 2015 re-launch of the Battlefront franchise, fans of the original games realized their hopes were not being brought to reality and that this was a very different game. However, it looks like the sequel to the 2015 title, Battlefront 2, is going to be bringing the franchise back to its roots.
In a recent Twitter announcement, EA stated that Battlefront 2 will be opening the doors to more locations, characters, heroes, and eras in the Star Wars universe. This is exciting news for fans of the original games, as it may open doors for the upcoming sequel to take on that nostalgic feel from the 2004 and 2005 releases.

As you can see, the development team from EA is also planning on incorporating an actual single player mode to the next installment of the Battlefront franchise. This is exciting because a game with solely multiplayer modes typically does not offer an ideal gaming experience to everyone. As to what “much, much more” entails, we have no idea but we are excited to find out what the development team has in store.
