E3 2020 Exhibitor List Leaked Despite Promise Of Better Digital Security
Another E3 means yet another event filled with leaks, Sony refusing to show up, and other assorted hijinx. E3 2020 is seemingly proving to be no different from its predecessor, as a partial exhibitor list has apparently leaked ahead of any official reveal from the host.
The news comes by way of the folks over at Prima Games, which reported that Resetera had snagged a couple screenshots from one of the E3 2020 websites. The site is now reportedly password protected, but not before the exhibitor list was leaked out to the public. It should be noted that, while the below list of exhibitors will be showing up, we don’t know in what capacity they’ll be doing things on the showroom floor. While many will likely have open booths, others such as Take-Two will chiefly be closed off for appointments. Here’s the list:
- Activision Publishing
- Amazon Game Studios
- Bandai Namco Entertainment America
- Bethesda
- Capcom USA
- Epic Games
- Kalypso Media Group
- NCSOFT
- RDS Industries
- SEGA
- Square Enix
- Take-Two
- Tencent
- THQ Nordic
- Ubisoft Entertainment SA
- UnnamedVR by Paracosma
- Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment
- XSEED Games
Any sort of leak should of course be taken with a grain of salt, though this is about as legit as it gets. It’s also important to note that this list is a work in progress, so more companies will be attending than what’s shown on the list above. Still, that gives us some inkling of what we can expect which, as mentioned, won’t include Sony. Geoff Keighley is also reportedly not reprising his role as the E3 Coliseum host, so it’ll be interesting to see how E3 2020 shakes things up. At least the Xbox Series X will seemingly be in attendance, so that’s something.
