Dying Light: Bad Blood Battle Royale Hits Steam Early Access In September (VIDEO)

What could be better than an epic, parkour-infused zombie survival game? Well, an epic, parkour-infused zombie survival battle royale game, of course! Announced earlier this year, Techland’s Dying Light: Bad Blood battle royale spin-off is finally making the jump to Steam’s Early Access program in September, as revealed courtesy of the title’s official website. For those unfamiliar with the Bad Blood battle royale spin-off, check out the gameplay video below:

There will be two global playtests for Dying Light: Bad Blood that will take place before the game hits Early Access. One playtest is between August 25 and August 26, and the other one is between September 1 and September 2. Registration for these is now available until August 22. While Dying light: Bad Blood will be free-to-play when the game fully releases, the cost for Early Access – which comes with exclusive goodies – is $19.99. Here are some of the highlights of the Dying Light spin-off:

  • Seamless mix of PVP & PVE – Kill the zombies and destroy their hives to collect blood samples and level up your character. Prey on other players, steal their loot, and become the only one to leave the zone alive.
  • Versatile Parkour Mobility – Whether you run for your life, chase another player or race to the evac chopper, it’s your parkour skills that give you an edge over the enemies,
  • Brutal Melee Combat – Immerse yourself in the blood-soaked FPP combat known from the highly-acclaimed Dying Light, now with greater tactical depth, new moves, and tons of vicious weapons.
