Dragon Age 4 Concept Art Offers A New Look At The Grey Wardens
With all the excitement surrounding Mass Effect Legendary Edition as well as the new game in the series, it’s easy to temporarily forget that Dragon Age 4 is very much a top priority at BioWare. Thankfully the studio is keen on reminding us about the highly anticipated title with the occasional piece of concept art or lore drop. The latest bit of juicy goodness is one of the former, with BioWare releasing a new image depicting a gloriously radiant Grey Warden.
News about the new piece of Dragon Age 4 concept art comes by way of Gameinformer, which reported on a recent conversation on Twitter between BioWare’s creative director Matthew Goldman and Dragon Age 4 executive producer Christian Dailey. Goldman tagged Dailey stating that he was “feeling really gray and pointy right now,” which Dailey presumably understood to mean “hey let’s drop that new piece of concept art!” So, here we are:
@SerGoldman I got you! Is this the right amount of pointy and gray?

As for the concept art itself, it depicts a Grey Warden wielding a sword and shield. Pretty standard fare when one considers the Dragon Age series as a whole, though this lovely inclusion to the art we’ve seen thus far implies that the Grey Wardens will have some place in the new game despite the notably bad time the organization had due to the meddling of Corphyeus back in Dragon Age: Inquisition. What we do know is that the new game will take place in and around Tevinter, something BioWare has been hyping up with some of the comics and short stories that have been released within the past few years.
Dragon Age 4 is currently in development.
