Stunning DOOM Vinyl Soundtrack Revealed, Coming Soon
Every DOOM fan knows that the game’s soundtrack is absolutely badass, and it makes crushing the life out of your enemies all that more enjoyable. Now, you can have the entire original soundtrack for yourself…on vinyl! Laced Records has announced a new partnership with Bethesda Softworks that has resulted in a beautiful DOOM vinyl soundtrack that is perfect for fans of the series. Here is the breakdown of the DOOM vinyl soundtrack, courtesy of Laced Records:
“Laced Records, in partnership with Bethesda Softworks®, a ZeniMax® Media company and id Software® bring you the DOOM (Original Game Soundtrack).
Cut at the world famous Abbey Road Studios and “Best Music” winner at The Game Awards 2016, the DOOM (Original Game Soundtrack) brings the trademark pulse-pounding and demon-slaying audio experience to fans for the first time on physical disc.
Composed by long-time Bethesda collaborator Mick Gordon, his intense vision channels industrial metal to mirror DOOM’s trademark fast and powerful first-person shooter gameplay across 31 synth and metal-filled tracks, spanning over two hours of runtime.”
There are three different version of the DOOM vinyl soundtrack (and one double CD set) available for pre-order, the most prodigious of which is the Special Limited Edition X4 Vinyl Boxset with accompanying slipmat and double CD bundle. Priced at $100, the set is only available for purchase now through midnight (UK time) on May 2nd, a mere two weeks away. Each version of the soundtrack is expected to ship in July 2018. Fans looking to purchase their very own DOOM vinyl soundtrack can do so here.
