Disney Princesses Play Dungeons And Dragons In This Incredible Short (VIDEO)

If there’s one thing the internet loves to obsess over, it is without a doubt the Disney Princesses. The beloved icons of feminine energy have been celebrated online in every way possible, from being re-created as Jedi and even as Final Fantasy characters. Another more recently resurgent internet fixation has been tabletop gaming, particularly Dungeons & Dragons. The classic tabletop pastime has risen in popularity lately thanks to web shows like Critical Role and podcasts like The Adventure Zone, with even more on the way. Now, someone has finally mashed up these two internet tentpoles of culture with a video having the Disney Princesses play Dungeons & Dragons.

As reported on ComicBook.com, a new YouTube series called Damsels, Dice, and Everything Nice has uploaded the first episode of their new series to their official YouTube channel. The simple premise has a significant number of the Disney royalty coming together for a game of DnD. The studious Belle, played by series writer Kailey Bray, takes her rightful place as Dungeon Master. Even non-traditional female heroes from Disney films get to join in on the action, including Meg from Hercules and Tiger Lily from Peter Pan. Even Princess Leia gets a seat at the table and has nod to being the newest technical Disney Princess.

The episode begins the Princesses’ campaign where they must deliver a basket of goodies to Ariel and Anna’s characters’ grandmother, but not before dealing with a wolf who has appeared in town. This is meant to be the first of seven episodes, but hopefully their campaign becomes entertaining enough to warrant additional episodes and campaigns in the future. Hopefully Belle can come up with Whole New Worlds to share with her players and us as well. Those interested in checking out Damsels, Dice, and Everything Nice can do so right here.
