Major Diablo Announcements Rumored For BlizzCon 2019

Diablo Animated Series

The rumors have begun. Prior to Activision Blizzard’s highly-anticipated event of the year, various sources of information begin to turn the rumor mill. As turbulent the past year has been for the company, BlizCon 2019 is going to be a blast for Diablo fans another year of silence. There have already been rumors of Overwatch 2 and there’s a report from Metro that Diablo 4 and a remastered Diablo 2 will be announced. See below:

As always, any and all rumors should be taken with a healthy dose of skepticism. Given the fact that Metro is a Twitch streamer, they could very well be doing this for the likes and follows. With that said, perhaps Metro has an inside source that they can’t divulge? Regardless of their reason and credibility, a noteworthy Diablo announcement is due.

Diablo 3 has been around since 2012, bringing the community a solid 7 years of gameplay. Though its reception wavered at first, the developers behind the game put in their blood, sweat, and tears to mold it into the sequel the community was hoping for. Furthermore, it’s no secret that Diablo 4 is currently in development. The announcement of this highly-anticipated sequel is a matter of when not if. However, a Diablo 2 remastered? Well, that might stir up the nostalgia for numerous community members.
