Death Stranding Director’s Cut Rated Ahead of Full Reveal

Extended editions, director’s cuts, and remasters are all the rage these days, whether it’s movies, video games, or more. Having originally released for PlayStation 4 and later on PC, Death Stranding is also coming to the PlayStation 5 through an upcoming Director’s Cut, as announced at this past month’s Summer Games Fest Kickoff Live event. Ahead of the full planned reveal, a rating for the title’s new version has now been discovered.

As posted on the Entertainment Software Ratings Board classification website, the new ESRB rating doesn’t show off anything new in terms of what the game will entail, with a summary only describing a variety of violent or somewhat explicit cutscenes, vulgar language, and more. However, it does suggest fans might be seeing some new information arriving in the very near future. It’ll be interesting to see what arrives in the Director’s Cut edition of Death Stranding as it’s already a fairly big game taking players across a massive map in a bleak world.

Death Stranding

There is no official release date quite yet for the Death Stranding Director’s Cut, but it’s entirely possible that information concerning the re-release of the game onto the PlayStation 5 could be arriving sometime soon.
