Death Stranding Director’s Cut Receives New Preview Trailer (VIDEO)
Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding was quite the bizarre tale matched with a peculiar choice in gameplay, yet it was received quite well by some, at least enough to warrant a Director’s Cut of its own. With the release just around the corner, a new trailer has arrived showing off some of the new things players can expect to see, ranging from new equipment for Sam to a mysterious new facility to explore.
The new Death Stranding Director’s Cut trailer was released during this year’s Gamescom and offers a look at some of the new features coming to the title. Said features include a Firing Range that will allow players to take on drills for various weapons and even compete against other players for the highest scores. Boss Battles will also be replayable through Sam Bridges’ private room, and players will have a chance to visit various race courses to compete against other players in Time Trials or attempt daredevil-type jumps with Jump Ramps. The trailer also shows off a little more on the new missions that will be arriving in the game, taking players into a mysterious new facility filled with Mules. There was even a strange new area and a giant monster that were teased towards the end of the video.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut is expected to arrive on September 29th for the PlayStation 5. Seeing as how the original version of the game is also present for PC players, perhaps they’ll also see a Director’s Cut edition sometime in the future as well, though currently no plans for such a thing have been revealed. What more awaits players as they step into the boots of Sam Bridges once more? Well, only Kojima and his team can say.
