Critical Role Collectible Statues By Sideshow Collectibles Revealed
Tabletop gaming has seen a resurgence the past few years, and one byproduct of that has been the popularity of tabletop gaming-themed podcasts and livestreams, with the most popular one being Critical Role. The show’s cast of professional voice actors help make the world of Dungeons & Dragons come to life in audio form. Because of its success, Critical Role has managed to transition into other forms of media and merchandise, including T-shirts at Hot Topic and illustrated books. Now, characters from The Mighty Nein campaign are receiving the ultimate honor with new Critical Role collectible statues by Sideshow Collectibles.
Sideshow Collectibles have released the new listings for their Critical Role collectible statues on their official website. The highly-detailed statues of popular characters Fjord and Beau from the Mighty Nein campaign have been revealed, and will be available for pre-order on January 14th, 2021. In a press release, Sideshow Brand Director said about the new partnership with Critical Role: “As fans and tabletop gamers ourselves, Sideshow is extremely excited to be partnered with Critical Role to bring Critters around the globe new premium-quality, limited-edition collectibles of Vox Machina and the Mighty Nein. Working closely with the cast to stay faithful to fan-favorite, canonical representations of the characters, we are hoping to make these wondrous items as glorious as any goods Shaun Gilmore or Pumat Sol would sell to adventurers.” No price is given yet for the statues, but usually Sideshow’s statues sell for hundreds of dollars each depending on their quality.
Also listed along with the Critical Role Collectible Statues are a new art print and artbook. The high-quality art print shows the Mighty Nein characters all enjoying a drink at a tavern, while The Chronicles of Exandria – The Mighty Nein Deluxe Edition contains 264 pages of art from the show. That artbook also includes items pulled from the world of The Mighty Nein, including invitations, character sketches and blueprints. These items will also be made available for pre-order in January next year. These are all the perfect items for Critical Role fans looking to make their tabletop gaming dens increase their charisma stats.
