Call Of Duty Vanguard Multiplayer Trailer, Beta Dates Revealed (VIDEO)

Call of Duty Vanguard Multiplayer

As unveiled during a new worldwide reveal event, Sledgehammer Games has shown off an all-new look at Call of Duty Vanguard multiplayer. Confirming such features as an updated assortment of modes, “advanced weapon customization,” and a total of 20 maps – 16 being core multiplayer maps – available at launch, a new trailer highlights all the chaotic action reserved for the online component of the World War II-set experience.

As per the Call of Duy blog, the full multiplayer experience touts classic modes like Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Search & Destroy, as well as Patrol, a new Hardpoint-like mode that tasks players with accomplishing objectives while staying within a mobile zone point. Players will also have access to a new Combat Pacing system, which enables specific match styles like the traditional-set Tactical, the high-octane action of Blitz, and the middle ground of Assault.

Sledgehammer also confirmed a series of open betas for Call of Duty Vanguard. Differing from the recent alpha test, the beta will comprise Champion Hill, Patrol, Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Domination, and Search & Destroy modes, as well as four core multiplayer maps: Red Star, Hotel Royale, Gavutu, and Eagle’s Nest. As a special offer, players who reach level 20 while participating in the beta can yield a Weapon Blueprint for use in the final game and Call of Duty Warzone when its new map arrives later this year.

Scheduled for throughout this month, those who preordered Vanguard on PlayStation will (of course) get first dibs on a beta session scheduled for September 10th to the 13th. The remaining Xbox and PC platforms and general PlayStation players will be treated the following week on September 16th and 17th, while all platforms will assemble for a final open beta from September 18th to the 20th. The full list of dates can be viewed below.
