Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Confirmed As 2020’s Entry (VIDEO)
Not to many video game series can say they suffer more leaks than Call of Duty. Not only because the franchise has been around for quite some time, but also because fans really love finding things out before the devs want them to. That said, one of gaming’s recent worst-kept secrets has finally been confirmed: Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is happening.
The teaser trailer was finally revealed after players went on the hunt for clues during the ARG, which led to folks searching high and low in Warzone’s Verdansk. Once the Easter egg was successfully hunted, the community rejoiced and Activision revealed the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War teaser trailer, which can be found below:
The video itself doesn’t feature any gameplay, but it does provide a bit of context. We see several clips from events that transpired during the actual Cold War, including an interview with KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov, civil rights protests, Ronald Reagan, and much more. We may not know exactly what the upcoming Call of Duty title is going to be about, but we can gather what it might be about.
In any case, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is currently in development and attempting to have the longest name in the series. Fans will be treated to a full reveal on August 26th.
