Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Logo Leaked Thanks To Doritos

We’ve known since May this year that the next Call of Duty: Black Ops game might be set in the backdrop of the Cold War thanks to a leak on Twitter. It’s since been deleted and news of that has died down. However, a recent promotion for Doritos may have just confirmed it!

Thanks to Twitter user TheGamingRevo3’s Twitter post, which we’ve screenshotted below, they shared photos of a bag of Doritos with a new Call of Duty logo: Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War. It pretty much confirms the the next CoD game to be set during the Cold War. Since Treyarch and Activision have yet to publicly affirm it, this remains a unsubstantiated image. It won’t be long until the community finds out however.

According to the image on the right, the promotional Doritos bag reveals that the sweepstakes begins October 5th, 2020 and ends January 31st, 2021. Considering the fact that Modern Warfare launched October last year, this likely means that Cold War will release by the end of October or this year. Given that there are plenty of online events and conventions taking place before then, Treyarch and Activision will likely make an official reveal soon.
