Blizzard’s Allen Adham Returns!
Former co-founder of Blizzard, Allen Adham, returns to the company. This was revealed during the opening ceremony of BlizzCon 2016. For those of you who do not know, Adham was the lead designer for World of Warcraft. He left in 2004 to pursue a different career in finance.
Adham also had key roles in many other Blizzard titles, such as StarCraft and Diablo for example.
In an interview, Adham confesses his regret for leaving Blizzard, stating: “In hindsight, leaving Blizzard was probably the biggest mistake I made in my life. What I should have done was just taken a sabbatical.”
Adham has been back in the Blizzard office less than 3 months. Let’s see what exciting additions he brings back to Blizzard!
In other news, the opening ceremony celebrated another year of BlizzCon with exciting information and announcements regarding Diablo 3, Heroes of the Storm, Overwatch, and StarCraft!
Overwatch’s Sombra has officially been revealed, StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void’s final Nova missions come mid-November, and Heroes of the Storm will be making an addition. Of course, Diablo 3 is releasing the long awaited Necromancer class. They are going to implement a patch, that will bring the original Diablo to Diablo 3, as well. Talk about news!
