Earlier this year, Treyarch threw its hat into the battle royale ring with its newly announced Blackout mode for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Representing the first time Call of Duty has blended with battle royale, the new mode brings to the table “fan favorite characters,” as well as “land, sea, and air vehicles,” as well as Zombies, because why not? Last month, Treyarch announced the beta dates for both multiplayer and Blackout for the PlayStation 4. Now, it appears that it is time for PC and Xbox One players to test the modes out.

The news comes by way of both the TreyarchPC and Xbox Twitter accounts, the former of which recently revealed the upcoming beta dates for Blackout on PC. The PC beta will begin on September 14th at 10am PT for those that have pre-purchased any digital version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The open beta itself is available to anyone that has a battle.net account starting at 10am PT on September 15th.

For those looking to hop into the beta test on Xbox One, the beta will be available on September 14th, with the below trailer revealing that players can opt-in for Solos, Duos, and Quads. Those looking to join the beta will have to have pre-ordered the game for Xbox One. The trailer does not specify the start time for the beta, though it will likely also begin at 10am PT.
