Resident Evil 2

As this year begins to wind down, many gamers are preparing shelf space, both physical and digital, for more gaming goodness to come. One such title that many are excited for is Capcom’s “remake” of Resident Evil 2.

The second entry in the iconic horror game series has been a fan-favorite for quite some time, which makes it the perfect candidate to update with today’s technology. When the beautiful trailer was shown at this year’s E3, gamers were elated. Now that the hype is in full force, more details are popping up, especially at Gamescom 2018. Attendees are even able to go hands-on with the upcoming title, while everyone at home will just have to settle for more gameplay. Check it out below:

The footage that has been released shows Claire Redfield doing what she does best – being a complete badass. Not only this, but she is also going toe-to-toe with William Birkin, who fans might know as the mutated scientist G. Looking more gruesome than ever, G certainly gives Claire a run for her money.

The upcoming updated version of the horror classic is looking to be absolutely gorgeous. Using different techniques from the span of the franchise, Capcom is looking to make a game for fans, both old and new. So far, we’d say they are nailing it.

Resident Evil 2 is set to arrive on January 25, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
